Industrial Factory Warehouse Entrance Logistics
Industrial Solutions • Heavy-Duty Access

Lorries, vans, motorcycles, and a shift change at seven.

Gates and access control for factories, warehouses and industrial estates — sites where the traffic is mixed and the duty cycle never lets up.

The Problem

Industrial entrances take punishment that residential hardware isn't built for.

Lorries, vans, staff cars and motorcycles all use the same lane, and a system tuned for cars mishandles the rest.

Shift changes create surges that a slow gate turns into a queue on the public road.

A ground rail on a site like this fills with grit and debris, and eventually jams.

Contractors and deliveries need controlled access without a person managing every arrival.

WHAT WE PUT IN

System Architecture

01 / 04

Gates spanning the opening without a ground rail

The cantilever sliding gate hangs from a suspended carriage and spans up to 28 metres with nothing running across the driveway to jam or fill with debris — structural aluminium alloy at roughly half the weight of steel, with a coating rated beyond ten years against corrosion. Where the opening suits a tracked system, the telescopic sliding gate covers wide commercial and industrial entrances.

02 / 04

Two barriers for a lorry, one for a car

On a lane fitted with a pair of opposing barriers, the system opens one for a car and both for a heavy vehicle — so the opening matches what's coming through instead of being sized for the worst case every time.

03 / 04

Contractors and deliveries without a guard on the gate

Expected arrivals can be registered before they turn up, so the vehicle is recognised on arrival. Anyone unannounced is registered at the guardhouse through the visitor system, with the record kept digitally rather than on a clipboard.

04 / 04

A system that survives the connection

Recognition, access rules and charging run at the gate itself. If the line drops, plates still read, barriers still lift, and everything syncs when the connection returns. Dual gateway and dual network backup means no single failure stops the entrance.

TRANSFORMATION

What changes

The gate handles the traffic it actually gets. Shift change stops backing onto the public road. And an internet outage becomes something your IT provider deals with rather than something that closes your entrance.
